SightMET connects to standard automatic weather stations, portable tripod weather units, and standalone outdoor sensors. It reads live data from wind sensors (speed and direction), rain gauges, solar radiation sensors, outdoor temperature and humidity probes, barometric air pressure sensors, and soil moisture sensors.

Can SightMET sound alarms when weather becomes dangerous?

Yes. Site managers can set custom safety limits for high wind speeds, sudden gusts, heavy rainfall, or extreme heat. When weather crosses your safety threshold, SightMET triggers on-screen warning pop-ups, sounds on-site sirens or flashing lights, and automatically sends email alerts to supervisors.

Can I download weather history for safety audits and government reports?

Yes. SightMET continuously saves every weather reading with an exact date and timestamp. You can generate clean, official PDF reports or export raw data into Excel (CSV) anytime for Department of Environment (DOE) filings, safety audits, and project reviews.

What happens if the internet drops at our site?

If internet or mobile connection is lost, the on-site data logger safely saves all weather readings in its built-in memory. The moment the connection is restored, SightMET automatically uploads the saved data so you never have missing gaps in your weather records.
